All of which suck and are tedious to read :D

Kiddies books in general are overrated by people desperately trying to cling to their childhoods.

This comment contains spoilerz in white text below here!

I always had the most trouble with Kratos, because the first time I rather... dropped my controller and stared blankly while he killed me. DX Second time I tried but was killed dead.

She gave me trouble, but not too much~ ;x Last boss was easy. Whole last dungeon was easy after that whole 'HURR, LLOYD = HERO' part. (Coded spoilers lawl).

[identity profile] rabanastre.livejournal.com 2007-07-31 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, yeah, that part was hard too! I hated when you had to fight one-on-one, because most of my gameplay is just spam attack and wait for Raine to heal, so I was like WUTWHERE'SRAINEOHNOEZ *dead*

The last dungeon was pretty retarded, especially the LLOYD = HERO part. I was so gullible with that whole thing.

I can't speak for the OP and have never seen the game before, but I think the "in b4 wank" bit was probably just a reference to the fact that RP secrets ALWAYS cause wank, whether their posters want them to or not. The secret is directed at whoever told her the RP was awesome, not at the RP itself.

And your comment was wanky. No offense, but assuming that she thinks she's better than you, that she sees all the players in a certain way, and that she has a grudge against = wanky.

They already did. :| RP secrets = instawank.

Ignore journal, don't want to reload this page on a different account.

What do you mean? What's wrong with Orson Scott Card? Go ahead, ruin it for me! 8D

Thanks for the objective response; it allows me to reflect on my actions a lot better than the anon response I got. Yeah, I've realized by now that my response was a knee-jerk reaction and a very unwise decision, and although I can't take back what I've already posted, I don't plan on responding again if any kind of similar secrets come up.

In short, I apologize for my stupid actions, and they won't happen again. :[

S'okay. My comment was worded a little harshly as well. *fails being nice on the internet*

And I totally understand knee-jerk reactions at RP, since I've had them a lot myself. You reacted better than most members of scorned RPs do- being rational and typing something out instead of resorting to insults /capslock/"you're-just-jealous"-ing. :D

Also, sweeping generalization for the fail.

It's okay, I needed to hear it. XD; And thanks, though I don't think I was much better in the end, as you yourself pointed out.

He just holds a lot of opinions and beliefs I really don't agree with is all. Things like supporting the Iraq war and insisting homosexuality is a sin and claiming there is no global warming and such.

Goddamn, I feel for you, mystery person. After her battle, the difficulty level of the entire game plummeted.

Except Kratos, but... dude, I let him win every time. Kratos > everyone (sans Zelos, the poor emo soul he is).

Best game I ever played, too.

4. YES. MGS taught me more about life than a lot of things. Including life. It still takes back seat to fandom, though. (Although I'm kind of curious about how well you did at Biology. :D Liquid.)

8. What. How could you get SQUICKED by Snake and Otacon? They're probably the least squicky slash pairing in existence. Hell, they got me into it. But I'm curious why they 'squick' you. Mind enlightening me?

15. Hello. I play there. I want to know how I can make my characters less OOC. I'm playing Solid Snake ([livejournal.com profile] damn_legends), Psycho Mantis ([livejournal.com profile] psionicfourth) and EVA ([livejournal.com profile] inloveordead). I'm not being sarcastic, I'm genuinely hopeful.

5: Garth Nix and his Old Kingdom Trilogy was one of the reasons I started picking up fantasy books again ♥ It still remains so very close to my heart, and no one has any idea who I'm talking about when I say his name. It saddens me a little.

Also (side note), it irritates the hell out of me when I'm in a book store and see that trilogy placed next to his Keys of the Kingdom series. It's not a damn kiddie series! DO YOUR RESEARCH, BOOK STORES /rant

20: THANK YOU. Jebus, I was over it when the 5th book came out and Harry snapped and went emo on us all. Teenage angst is one thing, but really; take a hint Rowling.

Or as I've heard sprinkled a few times here and there: That's not creative writing, that's badfic in disguise.
