1. Sabriel is an awesome woman, but I prefer Mogget. The world was awesome, in all four books.  Garth Nix said he has notes for more books, however, and I am over-joyed, even if he also said there was no guarantee he’d write anything for said notes.

19. Alan Rickman f-t-fucking-w.

20. I have honestly had people warn me not to read it. So I haven’t. Take that, ALBUS SEVERUS.

She must have a wand-shaped crack pipe.

I remember loving the first book. Just loving.

And now I don't even really care all that much if I ever lay eyes on the seventh. It just seems she's thrown her characterization out the window and as my friend says "forced people together as if to ward against slash".

Mogget was made of many kinds of win, I agree with you there.

...Wait, there was four? I only ever read the three!

And the dog. I loved her.

Yeah, there's another book he published called something like "Over the wall and back again" or something like that- which has a short story along with his other works. It centered around Nicholas and a creature in a case... and I think Lirael. I nearly spasmed when I saw it in hardcover and bought it instantaneously.

I'll definitely have to check it out, thank you! Though the title makes me think of "There and Back Again," but whatever.

Corrected title is "Across the Wall: A Tale of the Abhorsen and Other Stories".

Hee. I want to read the series over again, now...
