After stumbling through the Phineas and Ferb crossover section on FF.net, I got myself thinking "surely there's more than one person out there that ships improbable characters with one another."

So F!S, what are your weirdest rossover pairings you've encountered/shipped?

Oh man, weird crossover pairings are my life. One of my all-time OTPs is Ken Ichijouji (Digimon)/Uryuu Ishida (Bleach). Grell Sutcliff (Black Butler)/Szayel Aporro Granz (Bleach) isn't far behind. c:

Jesse Tuck/Jack Harkness

I have a whole headcanon about them, specifically Jesse's life after the book ended, that only got better & more tragic after Miracle Day aired. One day I will write this fic.

Wonder Woman/Captain America. For reasons.

I have this terrible habit of shipping Draco Malfoy with women in random other series. The most sense making of these ships is Draco/Violet Baudelaire. The least sense making is....Draco/Joan Holloway from Mad Men.

...Well, if you look over at rp secrets there's a pretty good number of cross over otps that have come from rping?

That said, I've seen some America/Captain America[or Batman a couple times] stuff floating around and...um...I've seen some askblog cross over pairings over on tumblr? But, tbh, I'm not really too involved with fandom outside of F!S, rping and the occasional reading of fic anymore.

EDIT: Actually, I take that back - There are a shit ton of Hetalia/historical figure stuff [some of it kind of creepy].

I may have started a Third Doctor/Miss Marple fic once. I don't think I even have what little I did write anymore, so it will never hit the internets, but it was a random thought.

I'm quite partial to Fringe/Doctor Who crossovers, especially with maximum amounts of Walter, but not necessarily any crossover ships there.

Where's Waldo/Carmen Sandiego.

Sirius Black/Aerith Gainsborough... Crossover fic idea I never wrote, still ship it though.

when I was in 8th grade I shipped Sailor Saturn and Vincent from FFVII. Idek what that was all about, but this was like... a LONG time ago before readily available internet (in my area at least) so I didn't even know what shipping was. Actually I'd forgotten about it until I saw some school project I did where I drew the two of them dancing together and wtf.even. was I thinking.

I ship Ariel/Jim and I have this sorta preference thing for Merida/Rapunzel. >_> Though not sure if it's "ship" shipping or just friend!shipping.

I also ship the FUCK out movie!Tony/Movie!Bruce Wayne.

I ship Tom (from 500 Days of Summer) and Bliss (from Whip It). At first I just started to like it because a few people in the Arthur/Ariadne fandom (Inception) made manips with it, but I've overanalyzed it and I think that if you assume these two movies are in the same universe (and really, why not) that these two characters would go well together.

Not too much stuff out there for it, but once Anonymouslyyours drew fanart and made a fanmix. Good stuff. :)

The only one I can think of is Terry from Wonder Boys and Dickie from The Talented Mr. Ripley. Which I admit sounds completely ridiculous, but I saw the movies back to back and thought they'd be hot together, and it's what led me to finally seeing Sherlock Holmes.

Encountered? Fry (Futurama)/Nathan Petrelli (Heroes).

Shipped? Jesse (Breaking Bad)/Reese (Malcom in the Middle), Julian (Trailer Park Boys)/ Balki (Perfect Strangers), Data (TNG) / Spock (ST '09)

There are probably more I'm forgetting...

Captain Amelia (Treasure Planet) and Horatio Hornblower.

It started out as a cracky idea in my head, and now has 18 chapters and four short stories posted around the internet. It's actually been a fun challenge trying to get them to realistically mesh.

Captain Jack/Wardell Pomeroy -specifically, the fictionalized version of him played by Chris O'Donnell in Kinsey. I think they'd get along fantastically.

Not quite shipping it, but there's a kid!fic in my fandom (I hate kid!fic, but I helped cheerlead this one so I feel like I owe something to it) in which two male characters donate genetic material which is implanted in a donor egg, which is in turn implanted into a female character who offered to be their surrogate. The egg donor is never identified. This has lead to me thinking that Egon Spengler and Jordan from Real Genius should have a kid.

I don't know what all y'all are on about Draco/Violet Baudelaire. Everyone knows her true OTP is Artemis Fowl.

I think one of my fics now has a pretty weird pairing. It's Jack Harkness (Torchwood) and Ishmael Chambers (Snow Falling on Cedars)

Though I basically ship Jack with the entire universe anyway.

I remember creating this really elaborate buffy/supernatural/dark angel AU in my head when I was younger just so I could ship Dean/ Buffy and have Alec be their genetically altered spawn.

I ship Jim Moriarty (possibly as Richard Brook) with Martin Crief from Cabin Pressure.

I totally ship Faith from Buffy with Shego from Kim Possible. Mostly because I have this idea that they meet up in a bar, proceed to bond while bitching about goody two-shoes cheerleaders, and then have epic lesbian sex. And possibly go on crime sprees together a la Harley and Ivy.
