If you do, that's good, and I am inclined to agree with you (on the barely pubescent thing at least, not so much older teens).

But unfortunately, that's not the majority opinion in Western society.

Yeah, I realize this more and more every time I have to recoil from yet another scene that features a young boy getting a dramatic "sexual awakening" at the hands of an adult woman when the author just condemned the reverse scenario (young girl, adult man) in the same damn story.

I know, the hypocrisy burns!
I'm personally okay with teen sexuality (at least older teens, it gets kinda squicky for me once they're any younger than 14, personally), but if somebody is going to decide that teen sexuality is immoral, they could at least have the decency to not have a huge double-standard between genders. Ugh, I hate hypocrites.
