It was Harry's descent into whiny angsty emo boy that turned me off the other books after four. D: He was cool in four. He didn't rape Ron's little sister in book four.

And the movies? I personally think they're...well, not that great. I do go out and see them for reasons I don't even know why, but they're not that amazing. XD; I also like to rave about the actors--and not in the good way eiter.

I thought the whole craze would be over and then I remembered that there are two more movies yet to be released. D8 Ugh.

This is true. I guess I just mean that I rarely see the pairings condensed in this fashion. KH was the first where I saw the general fanbase combine the Japanese names as opposed to combining the English names.

But lol, maybe I just don't follow enough fandoms? Is it that common now or am I just not getting the definition of "fangirl Japanese" right anymore? :|

Well writing-wise, I think the series definitely hit its peak with GoF. So, uh...you got out just in time? xD There are a lot of things I dislike about HP, but I still like being a part of fandom. *shrug*

3. I know! And I desperately want a company to pick up the novels or manga or anything else so I have an idea what the hell is actually going on because the TV series and OVAs tell me NOTHING.

1. Lawl, Drifloon is a n00b now that I think of it. XD Poor thing.

6. For a while, I thought that way and was secretly ashamed to put my fics on FF.N. Then I realized that the quality of fics on LiveJournal really weren't that much better, either. There's just less of them.

9. I hate "AkuRoku" so, so much. But then again, I also hate name smushes. I always write pairings out as "Character A x Character B." ALWAYS.

19. :ALDKHGOIFSHGE PAPER MARIO~! ♥ "It's Mario! And he's made of paper!" Whoever came up with that concept (probably Shiggy) wins so hard. It's hilarious when you realize that in PM: TTYD, 80% OF THE SIGNIFICANT FEMALES IN THE GAME ARE IN LOVE WITH MARIO. Peach loves Mario, Vivian was jealous that Peach and Mario were a good couple, nobody smooches Mario more than Mz. Mowz, and who wants to bet that Goombella's "secret" was that she loved Mario too? XD It seems like Flurrie was the only girl who wasn't in love with Mario.

Gals just love the 'stache.

Oh, and the secret made me "aww" and "lawl" too. :3 Paper Mario = WIN.

1. Oh my god I know. What I wouldn't give to even have a really average one like a Pidgey or a Spearow. ♥ (Though I'd really love to have an Eevee~ but then don't most people? XD)

4. I ship it, but I like Iruka to be the one who's got Kakashi totally whipped. *guilty grin* Iruka makes a hot seme. But then, that's a relationship that would be almost more IC to have them switch. They'd both be control freaks. XD And jeez if they don't have some of the hottest art out there. But the name "KakaIru" just sounds... weird to me. ^^' Like poop. *immature grin*

6. I feel the need to tell you to get over yourself. Sure, there's a fuckton of crap on there, but it's also the biggest archive (one of?) out there, so cut it some slack. I've found some of the best stuff in my fandoms on there.

9. I'm not particularly fond of a lot of ship names like that either. :\

3. I know exactly how you feel. HOW MANY VOLUMES AND THEN COMES THE KISS? God. This series is a total tease from what I've heard, the anime/OAV are the only things I can get my hands on sadly. ;_;

20. Oh god, I love you. Most of the time it feels as though you're being scrutinized just for liking artists who're popular. So WHAT, you know? If they inspire, and help a person do something they love, that's really something worth it and beautiful.

That said, while my enthusiasm for FF7 is kinda blah, I still love the series. ♥ Hell, as bad as Dirge of Cerberus was, I'm still willing to love it for the fact that it had a segment of what was going on at the end of the original game all 3D-fied in the beginning! ♥

20. would it kill them to bring us a sequel that fills some of the original game's plotholes, instead of digging it a set of new ones?

I ask the very same thing, but you know what? The series has fallen victim to marketing and becoming a cash cow for the company and while it's certainly sad that it has, it's not like we don't have the stuff we loved from the original.

Anyone tries to force the new shit on me without regarding the original stuff will get a punch to the balls though. :3

6. Some of us were at ff.n when it was actually a pretty good site. And not all authors realize there's better ones out there - and not all fandoms have anywhere else.

That said, I do have to admit, I don't go much anymore, and I do encourage ff.n authors I encounter to go elsewhere.

12. *Nods* It's hard, isn't it? I've been there with friends from other fandoms - it almost makes me dislike those other shows/books/whatever.

That said, part of me also feels guilty, because I have a feeling as far as Harry Potter is concerned, I'm one of those fans you're talking about. :/ My LJ tends to be taken over by HP related things more than anything else. So I'm also guilty. Heh. All I can say to that is, I don't mean to do it, nor do Ithink anyone does. It just happens, because where else but LJ and chats and such can you be obsessive?

6. Well, while most people seem to think otherwise, I do agree with you to an extent. I mean, I'll read stuff on there, but whenever I see it I automatically associate it with like, page upon page of crappy Mary-Sues. It's true there's good stuff on there too, but it's so widely-used...and sometimes you just don't feel like wading through all the crap.

9. The same. It kind of makes me want to headdesk a lot. It's the same with Full Metal Alchemist. Everytime I see someone squee about 'EDO AND ARU!!11!!!' I've to bite my fingers to stop from writing a 'THEIR NAMES ARE _ED_ AND _AL_ GET IT RIIIIIIGHT'... coff, pet peeves, yes.

H-honestly? I don't think that anyone really cared that they said bad things about our RP. If they think we're OOC? Hey, everyone has different perspectives on a character. Think we're too cliquey?

aviy covered that pretty well. We're mean? If one of us finds something stupid or something, most people won't just let it go--they'll tell you that they think it's stupid. So, yeah, most--not all--of us are brutally honest with what we think.

But! I think it was the fact that the secret that made all that wank targeted the people, and not the RP itself. Yeah, a lot of us are complete assholes, but there others are really sweet and nice, and it wasn't really fair to those people. Hate the RP, not the players ~~unless said player deserves the hatred then you're free to go RAWR RAWR RAWR or wtfever at them~~.
