I am so with you, OP. I especially love how Simon Pegg's character was handled: you expect him to be purely the comic relief character, but in the end he gets his moments of badass competence just like the rest of them, and no one seems surprised by it, because after all, he is an active field agent. It just makes me all warm and fuzzy, the fact that they all work together so well. And hey, you never know, the next movie could be just as solid!

I sooo agree with you. The deleted scene with him and Jane after Hanaway's death shows that he's quite serious most of the time.

And I love his heroics at the end! :)

Let's hope so. If not, there is at least fanfiction...
