I wouldn't say no teenage girl does. A lot of them wear white panties because it's easier to get blood out of them with a little bleach. I know I did (and still do, even if I haven't been a teenager for a long time).

RE: the blood: Same here. I've also had problems with underwear that wasn't 100% cotton, so that does limit the options. :C

I've found hydrogen peroxide works really well at getting light/minor bloodstains out, too.

I just recently heard from a friend that before actually washing in a washing machine or bleaching it, it's easier to remove most of the stains with cold water. Is it just me who never heard about this before? It actually did work so I was surprised my mom never told me this.

A little salt in the cold water works wonders too I've found.

This. Salt really helps with scrubbing it out after you've soaked it a little in cold water. :3 REALLY helps if you accidentally leaked through more than jut your underwear.

Yes. Just put the underwear in some cold water, leave them to soak and then wring them out. Works wonders for white cotton underwear. (My mother actually taught me this.)

this this this. Soak it in cold water for a half hour then put it in the wash. This is what I do when I bleed on my bedsheets (happens about every other period and it's a pain in the ass...)

I've taken to sleeping over a towel or similar fabric that I don't mind getting stained to save my sheets.
