I have yet to watch Gravity Falls, but isn't that cartoon intended for an older age group? I don't think it's really fair to compare it to MLP when MLP is intended for a very young audience (yes it has reached beyond it's intended audience, but that doesn't change the face that MLP can only get away with so much because they can't make their plots too mature.)

If we consider that MLP is more for young children (5 >) maybe, and GF is probably for at least 8 or 9 year olds...yeah.

And even GF is kind of a kiddier version of Regular Show.

I tried to get into the RS but I just couldn't. While I enjoy kids cartoons with adult humor, I just...I think it was that one shot where the blue bird was staring at the red bird's ass and I went 'lol no thanks' and turned the channel.

LOL I haven't looked at it in quite awhile until I came across a newer one.

I'd rather look at GF for my supernatural kick.

I watched like, an episode and a half of it, got really annoyed by it, and never looked back.

There's actually a really large gap for what is considered appropriate for kids 5 and under and what is considered appropriate for kids who are 8 or 9, so yeah, I wouldn't put MLP and Gravity Falls in the same category at all.
