I'm rewatching The Closer season 1 and I bask in the glory that is this show. Brenda is such a good character! Her team, her co-workers, and her family are actual, flawed human beings and I love it.

Does anyone know if the fandom is any good?

I'm hoping one day it gets put on Netflix so I can try watching it from the beginning and see if I like it. I watched a few episodes somewhere in the middle and Brenda bugged me for some reason. But it probably isn't fair to judge based on those few episodes.

As far as I could tell, the fandom was pretty much nonexistent, sadly.

Season one was amazing. I loved the callback to them all trying to leave the squad at the beginning of the season with their resignation letters at the end if she lost her job and her just tossing them in the trash. Best ever! (It really is a feel good season of television for me. I don't care if that's weird to say about a freaking procedural.)

I see exactly which scene you're referring to! Amazing scene. I love how, by the end of that episode, she blows them all out of the water by getting a confession and they all start to like her as the episodes go on.

And yep, it's also a feel good season for me!
