Just over 6,000 words into a Mass Effect fic. It's the first fanfic I've ever really written - I've talked over ideas in the past, and sicced rabid plotbunnies on friends, and done fanart, but I never really actually wrote up anything significant. This particular idea just got stuck in my head, though, and demanded to be written, so I'm taking a stab at it.

Right now, I'm just syncing up with the very beginning of ME1. The transmission just came in from Eden Prime. (The vast majority of my words so far take place as lead-in.)

But I'm afraid to post it, because... well. I don't know if I'll finish it, for one thing, and I think it needs a lot of help. I'm too close to it, and I don't see its flaws well enough to fix them.

What's the idea? I like seeing how different people's Shepards handle missions and stuff in ME.

I think pretty much anything's worth posting - at least that wy, you'll get feedback?
