I started it this afternoon due to enablement from a couple of fandom friends. It's about a shmoopy canon pairing. It's a dubcon fic. The setup is going well, but I've not got to the sex yet so I'm not sure how well I'll do at keeping it IC.

It's sixteen chapters so far, and it's My Little Pony.

It's not something I would tell most of my fandom friends about, but I actually am having the most fun I've had writing fic in years, and I've met a lot of new friends from the FiM fandom community through it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm having way more fun than I've had since I was a middle-school student writing stupid Inuyasha self-insert fanfics.

I am working on two fics right now.

One is for a comm fest and I am very excited about it but I can't talk about it because it's a secret but I love it dearly! It's going to be shorter than 3K just because of word count constrictions, but I'll probably have to eventually do a lot of paring it down because I have so many ideas! I have all of the plot thought up, but now I have to get down to actually writing it!

Another one is one that I've been working on for a while and I love it dearly also. It's a canon compliant Sherlock fusion with Frankenstein where Moriarty is actually a creature Sherlock created at uni and then abandoned. Right now I'm writing chapter three and I have some of Moriarty's pre-death background written a bit of another scene that takes place Post-Reichenbach, and I need to finish writing through the beginning of A Scandal in Belgravia. That will be the end of chapter three. I'm guessing that Chapter three will probably be around 2 K, which will make the whole fic after Chapter 3 about 5 K.

I don't write things that I don't love or that I'm not excited about. I don't see the point if it's for fun! But YMMV I guess.

I have 2 in progress. Both are stalled. I've lost my enthusiasm and my drive. I'm drowning between school, family, and my other obligations. I can't decide if I want to finish one or both or just pull my fic off the net completely.

Sometimes I just can't face my failures.

I'm working on several, but the one I've been working on the longest is just a little more than 8k. It's...sort of dubcon, because one of the characters doesn't remember who he is, and he wouldn't be in a relationship with the other character if he did...

Haven't gotten to the ending yet, but it's going to be pretty angsty. :)

I have so many half-finished fics just lying around that's it's ridiculous. But the one I really want to get done, is an The Expendables slash fic. I have my mind set on completing it before the sequel premieres!

I...have too many I'm working on.

Two fandom chapter fics, one dealing with the main character of fandom getting kidnapped and sold into a brothel, and his subsequent escape and trying to rebuild his life; the other following two main characters and their grief after losing their brother/betrothed.

A fanfic for HC_Bingo that was only supposed to be around 1,500 words, and is now about 30 pages long.

Original fic with a wizard and his demon.

I'm waiting on edits for another fanfic I wrote as backup for a LJ comm, so I can post it.

The one I'm working on now was supposed to be a one-shot but is turning out long as hell. I might have to divide it into three or four chapters. I wouldn't say I love it, but I don't hate it either.

I'm working on chapter two of what will probably be a long-ass fic wherein Seven of Nine gets stuck in the Pokemon world (specifically Johto) and is forced to go on a Pokemon journey. Her first battle involved her Totodile eating a wild Ratatta. It was perhaps not the best introduction to the world of Pokemon that she could have had.

Technically I have two, but.

One is my constant on-again off-again project. Gamesverse of fandom in icon. I started it as an attempt to work out some of the details in the canon (both animeverse and gamesverse) that have been brought up but never really dealt with or expanded all that much on. Or explained, really beyond a very basic one. I could have done it in animeverse I suppose, but games works better for several reasons.

The other is...a thing I just started based on some fanart I saw. << Haaa. Same fandom. Pure animeverse. Dark AU, really.

Two right now. One is complete and utter fluff and crack, and I have a vague ending to it, but there's a middle scene that's just not being written. The other is vaguely AU Clint/Natasha (Avengers) fic. It's going fairly well, and it's definitely on my mind more than the other one. I haven't touched it in a few days though, which is always a danger sign. I'll be working on it some more this arvo, hopefully.

I have multiple drafts which combine to something like 18000 words of this one fic about Draco meeting his canonically unnamed wife. There are parts of it that have worked out, but oh my god, I am really starting to hate the damn thing, because it just refuses to take structure.

I have a lot of other WIPs sitting around too, one Moonrise Kingdom/Pretty Little Liars crossover which I am taking a break from because fnarg, and one crazy ambitious Legend of Zelda epic which I adore but by design will not be finished for a long, long time.

It's three pages handwritten for the Sherlock fandom (not sure whether to make it BBC or RDJ though). It was a prompt on the kink meme for asexual!Sherlock/Watson and the OP wanted frustration and angst. I know what I want to happen, but it just seems that the fic keeps growing, and the ending seems so far away. I've never had that happen to me, so I'm not sure how to remedy it.

Maybe I'll keep writing until it becomes a 100K epic...lol, not.

Castle, Sherlock or Harry Potter? HELP ME CHOOSE.

Man, I've got so many fics in progress that I'm still interested in, but apparently not interested enough to want to sit down and write:

Castle fandom:
* Ryan is shot and Castle saves him and then there's angst. (pre-season 4)
* Ryan is shot (post-season 4 and thoroughly unrelated to the first story) and there is much guilt-filled angst because Team Beckett had abandoned him. Jenny opens a can of whoop-ass on their self-important selves.
* The young son of a criminal seeks revenge by courting then kidnapping Alexis Castle. *Really I've just thought about this one a lot, so it may not count.

Harry Potter fandom
* Arthur disguises himself and then befriends Percy to see if Percy is betraying them.
* Percy is missing after the battle at the ministry and his pregnant fiance fills in the details while helping reunite the estranged Weasley parents.

Sherlock
* John is turned into a child (of body, but not of mind), which is fortunate, because it helps them solve a case at a school, but also unfortunate because, well...John is not child. (Cracky cracky story, OMG, but so adorable.)

Which one should I work on tonight, y'all?

I have so many WIPs it's not even funny. I just started one for a 10,000-word challenge community, and it's going okay. I have two or three Eureka WIPs that I need to finish watching Season Five (I had no TV time this summer and now the show's over and I'm behind), and one from my main fandom that's at 20,000 words and maybe a third finished.

I recently started Teen Wolf/Kyo Kara Maoh fusion, and it's my first WIP in a long time. I usually prefer oneshots. It's sooooo much fun, though. I get to play with all the characters in a medieval/magical setting, where there's a civil war going on between demon elementals (originally werewolves in canon) and humans (the hunters). It's like Legend of Korra (never mind that I only watched 1 episode of that), kind of, and Stiles, who gets transported there from the original TW world to be designated king of demons, is SO CONFUSED. I love writing it. :D

Also working on some shorter Teen Wolf pieces (with lots of Isaac, because he's my baby), and oneshots for other fandoms (Common Law, Supernatural, Grimm), as well.

Well, the most recent one is a snippit from a FMA (2003) sequel that I put together. I like it, because I like the characters, but I know no one else ever reads fic that mostly star original characters, especially canon!spawn.

Also I am kicking around a musebox fic that involves a campfire, marshmallow addiction, and my favorite cross-series crack!OTP being kinda schmoopy.

I have two that I'm working on.

The first is a Song of the Lioness AU where Alanna doesn't return to Tortall, and she gives Thayet the Dominion Jewel. It was supposed to be a commentfic, but it's already 1500 words long, and I have still have a lot more that I need to write.

The other is an Inuyasha fic. I wrote it for Camp NaNo in June, and it's just over 50k. I'm stalled on it right now, but I'm determined to finish it. I was going to do Camp Nano again this month, but that didn't work out. Hopefully I'll be inspired again soon. If I'm not finished by November, I might do that as my NaNo fic and see if I can finish it up then.

The third installment of a V for Vendetta fic that I've let drop because I have to kill a character (at least one) and I can't get it together.

The OUAT fic I started just isn't working. I've got the outcome, I like it, but I can't get any enthusiasm back for it because I'm completely dead in the water.

I hate them both at the moment. I hate them more than I loved them at the start.:(

a fic for a crack ship big bang. i'm not good with writing long stuff so i chose a mini-bang, which is only 5,000 words. at the moment, it's a little over 3,000 and i'm way too invested in the main female character's point of view and her thoughts on anything. i'm finding it difficult to make her/her love interest act romantically for each other except for light UST.

Well, I'm planning on writing this AU for a TV show that I honestly believe is trolling its audience, to make sense of some story lines.
