I'm working on chapter eight of my XMFC mpreg crack/angst fic of doom (around the 30k mark, 11-14 chapters projected). I am vacillating wildly between being "yay, I am finally making progress after so many months of being stuck" and "oh god oh god I can't." Pretty much par for the course for this fic. Similarly, the conflict between the main characters is just hitting the dark before the dawn type place, so I am also vacillating between "my babies :(" and "they're so pretty when they cry. XD"
