Oh puhlease. If people feel shame naturally, then good for them because it incites them to change. If they don't, but change anyway, well that's even better, isn't it (but this rarely happens because change is painful and usually starts with feeling bad about one's ignorance). Realising you've been benefiting all your life without realising while others suffered due to it, IS sickening. That's what's sick here, and your ascribing of "sickness" to wishing people would WAKE UP is a great example of privileging some class of people's feelings over others.

I kinda get what you are trying to say; but the message is hypocritical. Wherein, you want all people to be treated equally and fairly, except for every "white cis man".

And don't bother with with " for centuries the white straights blah blah blah...." because you doing exactly what you are trying to fight against---make an assumption and blanket statements on an entire group of people; dismissing them solely on the way they were born.

I find it sad that people fail to see that comments like "die white cis scum" are as full of hate and bigotry and any other slur.

There is a good way and a bad way to promote acceptance and equality. Saying "Good" to someone who's been harassed and insulted because they were born straight is not moving the "SJ" movement in a positive direction.

It isn't a stretch to think that the core idea of "SJ" is positive. That people want to be treated fairly and with respect is not a new idea. The idea that we as a society need to look at some of the fucked up things we do and change what we think and what we do. The core idea of social justice is not the problem.

The problem is the misguided and overzealous hivemind that have decided to label the "white cis man" as the root of all evil in the world. The problem with SJW is that a handful of trolls somehow gained a following. The problem is SJW seems to exist only on the internet and is a form of slacktavism.

Mind you I am not talking about "Social Justice Advocates," who actually take the time to help educate others and are active in their communities for what they believe in.
