I know you're afraid of all the bad things it could be and how it could change your life but I have two things to say:

1) It's better to be safe than sorry.

2) The longer you wait the worse it will be and that counts for more than just health and expenses.

Really anon, you need to get it checked out. Maybe you can find a free clinic or something? I don't know much about free medical services but maybe you can ask around about that.
