so i know console games are all the rage among kids these days and always have been, but there's this magical platform called PC that has some really great games you can't find anywhere else. i've been a PC gamer for 15 years just about and i see no reason to stop now -- even if i dearly love my consoles (especially my well-worn PS2, probably the best system i've ever owned.)

what PC games does fandom!secrets play? MMOs don't count.

Why don't MMOs count? That's mainly what I play.

I've never owned a console, all the games I've played have been on PC. Still, I wouldn't say I'm much of a gamer, haven't played a "real" game in years. My favorite has always been Grim Fandango.

It was mostly Sonic games...they don't run on my computers now.
(Ironically enough, my Wii is up and running Brawl right now.)

My dark secret is I own a Mac but desperately want to play Witcher and Witcher 2. So I settle for watching playthroughs and reading the novels ): I crush on Triss so hard.

I only recently started playing games on the PC, I've always had played console games, which I prefer altogether, mostly because I find easier to play with a console control than with a keyboard, which is too uncomfortable for me.

I had played Civilization (I don't remember wich one) and it was pretty addictive, and now I'm playing Portal 2 (wich is even more addictive). To be honest I was surprised to find PC games are way cheaper than console games, so I may keep playing PC games from now on!

If indie and/or flash games count, like every TD ever and most of the rpgs.

I would throw so much money at Gemcraft 2 it's not even funny

Back in the day I loved Natural Selection.

I don't have a gaming PC anymore. I was playing The Killing Floor and Left 4 Dead when I did, though.

I liked the game The Path and I appreciate Tale of Tales' unique approach to making games, although their...uh...devotion to ~artistry~ sometimes becomes off-putting.

Minecraft and the Sims mostly. ~~I just completed my 2nd of 4 huge railways in Minecraft...all done in survival mode. Eep.~~

Sims, the Dragon Age series and KOTOR. Yea, that's about it. I used to play other things on PC (mainly the Tomb Raider series), but I'm more of a console gamer. ~~Sorry.~~

I play the usual, nothign amazing. Skyrim, Age of Empires, Dragon Age, Amnesia, Mirror's Edge, Fable (but fuck Fable 3), Sims - all of them, Portal, Mass Effect 3, Impossible Creatures, Jurassic Park, Zoo tycoons, Spore...

Older ones: Darkstone, this Wizards and Warriors (http://www.cheatcodesgalore.com/pc/games/Wizards_and_Warriors/Wizards_and_Warriors-s0.jpg), Warlords Battlecry, Total War series

Recently got back into old DOS games. So Lemmings, Shadoan, Lands of Lore and Dune.

I've been eyeing the Assasin's Creed game, but I'm not sure. All the topless slash fanart on DA has been a bit of a turnoff. I don't mind discovering and ignoring fanart afterwards, but prior to playing a game it can really affect my decision.

i used to only play basic games on the pc (sims, zoo/roller coaster tycoon, etc), because i was a nintendo kid growing up and i stuck with consoles, even when i gave up my life of nintendo for xbox. it's only been recently that i've started playing more games on the pc, but now i honestly think i prefer them.

i most often play valve games, specifically left 4 dead, cuz my dad likes to play with me. bethesda games are some of my faves too (fallout 3/new vegas, skyrim, oblivion) and i recently started playing diablo III.

I am so jonesing for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition that it's not even funny. 33 more days ;___;

Sims 2 and 3, Civilization IV and V, American McGee's Alice (not the sequel, but the older one) and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.
Sometimes I also play Sid Meier's Pirates.

I've been wanting to play Grim Fandango but I can't find it anywhere. :C

VISUAL NOVELS YEAH

The Sims 3 is the only PC game I have that's not an MMO.

The Sims 3, Oblivion and this really old mecha game called Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. Occasionally I take a stroll down memory lane and play stuff like Jill of the Jungle or Chip's Challenge. Oh, and I don't play MMOs.

Yeah, I'm a PC gamer. Could never get into xbox and playstation and all that.

I play Bioshock I + II, Portals, visual novels, a couple of free-to-play games on Steam, and... The Sims.

since my most recent console is a PS2, any remotely recent game i play is going to be on the PC. i'm biggest on the half life and fallout series (of those, i'm most partial to HL2 and new vegas), though i've spent a decent amount of time playing things like left 4 dead, killing floor, or borderlands (though less often these days, i'm just not so big on multiplayer at the moment)

i'm also kind of into puzzle games in the same vein as myst. secretly i have a huge weakness for these nancy drew games that they've been selling on steam for like 7 bucks a pop. the target audience seems to be preteen girls, but i'm going to tell you right now, those games are fucking hard.
