I like hugs. And IMO a kiss would have been kind of weird between them, since it was Belle kissing Rumple that initially caused the rift between them. So I feel like kissing is kind of something they'd have to work up to, at least initially.

At least you like it...? I honestly think it's great, but... I mean, there are definite issues with the show and sometimes the effects are iffy (I ascribe that mostly to a TV-sized budget) but I legitimately think the writing's well done (for the most part) and clever.
