Oh, golly.

I wish, I wish, I WISH that that attitude was more common. But it seems like there's this giant group of people who go out of their way to find off-color comments made by or attitudes held by authors just so they can declare that everyone who reads those authors' works are terrible human beings.

Eh, there's certainly a few people I wouldn't ever give money to - Orson Scott Card being the obvious one. But mostly, it's just that I'm not into the celeb side of fandom, including when it comes to authors. Just let me enjoy the stories pls. It's not like most authors are that consistent anyway.

(I do have a few exceptions - triciasullivan is a complete BAMF.)
