huh, i thought they had a ton of chemistry. he didn't hold her captive btw, not really, he kind of 'bought' her and she went willingly. and he let her leave, so yeah. and she fell in love with him because she saw what was underneath his curse. you're in the minority for a reason here.

There's no way she went willingly. When the choice is 'come with me or watch a whole lot of your people die painfully when you could have prevented it' is not willing. That she had to go or PEOPLE WOULD DIE is the very definition of coercion.

i don't really agree with your perspective. people were dying anyway whether rumple came along or not. he's an opportunist, he will exploit your weakness. but that weakness exists regardless, and there *are* other choices people can make. she went willingly. yes, she felt compelled because of her morals, but it was her choice she made based on how she felt.

Yes, strictly speaking... but he wasn't threatening to kill her family/people if she didn't do as he said. The threat wasn't coming from him. He made an offer to extend himself to HELP them, IF she did as he asked. That's not quite the same thing as coercion... it's a subtle distinction, but it IS different
