Yes, I realize that, but don't all live on the Left Coast, either. I've seen some rough winters in my life, and I *was* raised in a rural area, on a working farm. Thus, the secret.

Not really. The fact that you're Canadian is utterly irrelevant to the secret. I'm Canadian and I grew up in the middle of Toronto.
That that you grew up in a rural area *is* relevant, but a shit ton of Canadian's *don't* live in rural areas.
