Well, speaking as a goth here, goth as a subculture didn't exist when the original TV show was airing... but I would definitely say that they influenced goth culture. So, I'm not sure what you would call that? The great-grand-family of goth culture? ^_^

But I've always loved them. They're one of the healthiest families in film and TV.

Yeah, their unconditional acceptance of the dark and the strange, and their insistence on finding fun, delight and beauty in horror and things other people find morbid are the essence of the feelings and aesthetics behind the Goth subculture.

Given how ancient the family is supposed to be, they were probably weirding it up back when there were real Goths.
