(Anonymous) 2012-08-20 01:10 am (UTC)(link)She got the brilliant idea of trigger the thing that made those people into werewolves (being in proximity to a vampire, I think?) on purpose to overthrow the Volturi.
She kept this a secret from the Cullens, her special vampire ability kept her hidden from Alice and other vampires who could otherwise see her through visions or sense her.
But the Volturi found out, and okay, my memories are a little fussy, especially in the order of the events, but
*this is a big twist, if you intend to read!!!*
it looked like they killed some of the Cullens and some of the werewolves -I think they killed an elderly vampire couple -whom Bella had earlier in the story insisted was turned to save their lives- for real, though-, but it later turned out that one of the vampires can brainwash people into loving her unconditionally, so they kidnapped them, the werewolves and pretty much anyone with an interesting ability and used them for their own ends.
Bella had Rene- what's her name (who has a normal name in this fanfic) but had to leave her behind with the remaining Cullens for safety, but vampire!child grew up quickly and at the first opportunity Bella kidnapped her to run away with her (vampire!child was okay with this too), and I think she still thought Edward was dead, but she later found some of the werewolves hiding from the Volturi and stuff went even wronger so they were all trapped and Bella had to run away and vampire!child was taken in by the Volturi into some sort of cult where everyone was happy, but she used her own special ability to keep herself from losing her mind, and she later escaped with another vampire!child but she was later killed and I think that's all that was written when I read it and I haven't caught up since.
Sorry for the confusing tl;dr, I tried to keep it from becoming even more tl;dr.
