...yeah, this, at least sometimes. Like one time my fandom friend linked me to a fic saying 'omg this is so bad, look at all the awful crass slut-shaming and failgrammar' and I wound up fapping, hard.

It's partly a matter of classy characterisation and interestingly structured prose, imo. That stuff is great writing but completely kills my girlboner.
