Ugh, thank you. One of the other twits said something about bisexuals having preferences, and like, I'm sure some people, somewhere have preferences, but in my personal experience that's more along the lines of "I prefer Sandy to Geoffrey" and less "I generally like vagina more than cock". I, at least, just like some people better than other people, which I think is the case for friggin everyone.

Man, I want ice cream too. There was some at the party, but it was terrible.

Not to be a downer here but lots of bisexuals have preferences. Bisexual =/= genderblind. It's not uncommon to hear people saying they prefer one gender to the other but are open to both or are "bisexual leaning gay"/"bisexual leaning straight" or something.

I'm about 70-30 myself. I "prefer people like Sandy over people like Geoffrey" in general unless there's something special about the latter that attracts me.

This is way more than common enough to be more than "some people, somewhere." It's like saying "I'm sure some lesbians, somewhere, are only tops or only bottoms, but in my personal experience..." and no, the connotations of that is all wrong.

Oh, I didn't mean to say that no bisexuals had gender preferences- that was sloppy wording on my part, I know plenty do. I just didn't like the person IRL's implication that every bisexual had an immediate preference they would go for.

Well, going back to our ice cream analogy, you could say having a bit of a gender preference is like saying you like fruity flavors of icecream more than chocolately flavors. But sometimes they still want chocolate or fudge over strawberry or pina colada.
