I can tell it's not any part of growing older. I'm in my 50's and I know fans who are older and still love it and have that feeling.

It might be just the shine wearing off of stuff. I've been a fan of Star Trek since the very first show, but it lost something over the years. Next Generation brought it back some what; Deep Space Nine brought it all the way back. Yet it's been fading again. Oh, I've seen the latest movie and I like it and still looking forward to the sequel, but things do fade.

You'll find something new. Just keep an eye out and watch everything.
