I actually made a secret about this, once upon a time.

Shizuo/Izaya from Durarara. It just... doesn't work for me. I don't know why. There's a grand total of one fic that I kinda sorta vaguely enjoyed. Other than that, nothing. I just can't see it. There are some ships where I can enjoy the fics even if I don't really ship it (Kurogane/Fai, I'm looking at you), but Shizaya is the only one that just Does. Not. Work. in my brain.

That ship scared me away from the DRRR!! fandom. I haven't even finished that anime yet, even though I started watching it while it was airing...

It's probably because Shizuo would happily murder Izaya. I also don't get why Izaya tops.

It also doesn't help that I hate Izaya.
