I doubt you're able to help those kids very much if you're too busy jacking off to what happened to them, you sick piece of shit.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
I like how nothing in my comment even implied that, but I guess your self-righteous rage is too strong for reality. Fuck you for implying I would ever do anything like that. And fuck you some more for not even being willing to put your name on a disgusting accusation like that.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, whatever lets you sleep at night. Just hope that your employer doesn't find out about your little hobby.

Also, you may want to stay away from the "you're anonymous" argument when you're not signing your name to anything, either.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
The people I work for know how to distinguish fiction from reality too, but I do appreciate your concern.

I don't want your self-righteous ass following me around forever complaining that there are 15 year olds in my porn. What's your excuse for being anon?

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 02:56 am (UTC)(link)

So why don't you just tell them you read stories online about 15-year-olds having sex that may or may not be consensual? I'm sure they'll be all smiles and understanding and may even ask you for recs!

I'm anon because I don't have or want a Dreamwidth account.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
DA

Why would you tell your coworkers about any of your kinks, no matter what they are? There are certain things you don't randomly discuss with people. That doesn't make you automatically a horrible person that should be fired.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly my point. On some level, you know this shit is wrong.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
AYRT

Did you miss that I was not the first anon or something?

And no, I don't feel that my practicing BDSM in private is "wrong" but I certainly wouldn't bust that fact out at a company party. I don't feel that being gay is wrong, but I certainly wouldn't bust that completely unrelated fact out at a company party either. Why do they need to know? There are times and places for things, and I can tell the difference between morally right/wrong and socially awkward/comfortable.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
So...you talk about the shit you masturbate to at work?

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, actually. All of us do. I also work in a sex shop, so it's not exactly out of place.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
Well that's cool. However, at non-sex shop workplaces, people don't really talk about that sort of thing, regardless whether their fantasies would be considered normal or not.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
I have a work friend or three I talk sex with at work. We talk about what gets us off without explicitness, how Charlize Theron pierces our het armour like it's made out of butter and we talk about the sizes of the dicks in our past. I've shown them my femmeslash fic and she's happily told me how it got her in the mood for sexy times later on.

Guess what?

If I liked reading about underage kids having sex with adults, I'd keep mum on that at work because there's no way I wouldn't get the side-eye. The anon who acts like his employers and co-workers could distinguish between reality and his preferred fap material is totally full of shit. I'd judge the HELL out of him/her if they worked in my office.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Well, since you talk about it, I guess that means that everyone does. And anyone who doesn't, should. Kind of like that George Michael song.

I think Monday, I'll go tell my boss about the sex I had earlier tonight (non-explicitly, of course). She'll be cool with it. Then, I'll show her the smut I've written. It will surely bring us closer together.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
*shrug* It just might. I worked in a tech support call center, and our breakroom conversations turned to sex randomly. I got along a lot better with my boss when we started joking about really bad erotica on the internet.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-29 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
da

If I were to bring that up at my office? I could get in trouble for sexual harassment. Written up, fired, maybe even sued. And possibly even from people who were not involved in the conversation, but simply overheard it and felt uncomfortable. That's the litigious society in which we live (and by we, I'm going to specify the US here). Most people can't, and shouldn't, talk about their sex lives at work. It's terribly inappropriate for a lot of job situations, and trying to act like it's no big deal and weird that people don't is unrealistic and honestly kind of moronic.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
to be fair, 15 years old having sex amongst themselves is nowhere near the wtf levels of wrong of lolicon and shotacon

the may or may not be consensual I grant you

If they asked, I would tell them (and I have with fannish coworkers in past jobs), but the stuff I do in fandom isn't something that comes up a lot, and I don't overshare about the porn I read about grown-ups either? If you go around telling your coworkers about what you wank to, your workplace experience must be really different than mine.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
I work in a store that sells vibrators, so yes it probably is a little different.

It probably doesn;t come up where you are for a very good reason, though: mixing children and sex fantasies is Not Right.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-25 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
DA

Dude...no.

I am not going to tell my co-workers about my husband and I having sex not because it's wrong, but because that's not fucking appropriate at my workplace. Good for you that you work at a toy shop, but most of us work at places where talking about our sex lives, no matter how vanilla they are, is not normal.
