I definitely identify with the child (let me clarify: I only look at the drawn stuff). I was never abused or anything either - if I had to sit down and armchair analyze myself, it probably has to do with the fact that for a long time I wasn't comfortable with my (very feminine) body, and wished myself back to that pre-pubescent androgynous state.
