Um, I love typical shounen like Naruto and Bleach, adore Seinen like Vagabond and Berserk, and love shoujo like Sailor Moon? WHERE DOES THAT PUT ME?

The Sailor Moon anime imo was awful. I loved it as a kid but did not so much as an adult at all. The manga however was full of hilarious jokes, girls asking each other if they ever fart, very well developed relationships and awesome female characters. So I didn't really care that it was magical :B

Sure. Like I said, never read the manga but I never found any of the anime attractive, and I assume it's the same art style in the manga?

Well, one would assume by people's comments on the series that liking 'big eyed shoujo magical girl' stuff means you don't adore blood and gore.

Anyways, actually you'd probably hate the manga style just as much, and if not, even more if you don't like the anime. The colouring and art is beautiful, but not very realistically proportioned. It's even MORE "big eyed-little mouthed-1000 mile long legs" than the anime. We all have our things we hate because of the art and lack of personal appeal. I hate Ouran for the same reason :(

All people have said is they like "blood and gore shounen manga" stuff better, or that they dislike the shoujo stuff. Not sure where/how you assumed that, 'cause I didn't.

If it's like that, probably. *dies* And sure, tons of people hate Ouran.
