I honestly do not understand why this surprises/pisses off ANYONE. did you really think AO3 was your personal little safe haven where it was impossible for nothing you personally dislike to get in?

It was. There used to be maybe 4 fanfics -- at most -- out of every 30 that I didn't like, which is a ratio I've never seen in other fanfiction archives.

Good for you? Most of the fandoms I was in had plenty of fic that I disliked in the beginning of AO3.

I guess it's just which authors came across it in the beginning.
