Jesus this is geeky, but LOTR. Always and without fail, in each of the movies there's at least a scene or two that makes me bawl.

Toy Story 3. I shouldn't have to explain that, I think.

The Fox and the Hound. Geez, that movie.

Probably a weird thing to include, but MULAN. "The greatest gift and honor is having you for a daughter."

I'm sure there are more 'serious' examples but at the moment I can't think of them.

OMG, I totally forgot about LOTR. I think I cried for like the last 30 minutes of Return of the King when I first saw it. Luckily it was really dark in the cinema and I'm sure other people were crying too!

Yep, that was me. And is still me, sadly. Though for my family LOTR is a group activity, and all of us were crying, so I don't feel TOO pathetic about it.

Pippin and Gandalf's chat about death. Pippin finding Merry.

God, the ENTIRE reunion and the leaving for the Grey Havens.

That movie is brutal for the eyeballs.

I periodically watch that movie, thinking it won't be as sad as I remember, and then I cry BUCKETS.

I saw it again about a year ago. Thought, "I'm older now, it won't be as sad as I remember it." ...Yea, nope, sobbed a frankly embarrassing amount.

The Fox and the Hound was basically my mental soundtrack for years whenever I wanted to make myself weepy. I just think "And we'll always be friends forever, won't we?" "Yeah, forever!" Then the music from that wretched song, and boom. Misty eyes.

Crap, it's still got it.
