In reality they're just the same sad 4chan anons who think it's cool to be an asshole. They just happen to like a show marketed at little girls.
(Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone who watches the show, but I personally think the 'brony' tag applies to those fuckers and everyone else is just a fan.)
