I can relate. Writing a thesis is like giving birth. Hang in there! You'll make it and you'll be able to hug your printed thesis like a precious baby, and it'll feel GOOD.

(I have a lot of feelings about theses, apparently)

I have lots of feelings on my thesis tooooo.

Believe me. One week I am (jokingly) threatening to burn down everything that has to do with my thesis (my thesis is a weird cross of city planning, park planning, history and politics) including all the archives I used. And planning to find a rich man to take care of me the rest of my life

And then the next week I'm like - FUCK YEAH. Everyone in the world is gonna want to read this cause it's sooo good.


But most of the time it's low level anxiety mixed with adoration of the subject. It's really the weirdest feeling.

Ha, are you me? I was the same. One day I was like "please someone take me to the moment this thing is done and/or find me a loaded heir", the next day? "I LOVE EVERYBODY IN THIS BAR (of scholars) AND I'LL ROCK THIS PARTY". With the constant: "oh my god the clock's ticking!"
And I'm considering a PHD, so apparently, I can't get enough of this.

The drinking think is scarily accurate for me. But mine is definitely drinking when I am feeling bad OR good about it. Grad School killed my liver forever.


Oh, I have definitely thought about going the PhD route but I am not sure I could handle a dissertation. It would probably just kill me dead.
