Magnetism is all about personality, OP, not always looks. I don't know anything about this guy, but so long as he can throw off a magnetic air (which probably won't be too difficult, considering everyone else is grim and quiet), he should work.

I agree with you but also that kind of magnetism is hard to convey on a movie screen. Unless this guy is a spectacular actor (and maybe he is; I have no idea) it's going to be hard for him to bring across that he's Finnick. But I'd have said that about almost anybody they picked.

Well, he's going to have to be a heck of an actor because he has yet to stand out in anything I've seen him in that would make think, "Yep. That's the guy who should be playing Odair."

Except this guy has been kind of bland and background-y in everything he's been in. I just don't get it either.
