After they cast a hunk for Peeta (who is was stated as "a little chubby with soft hands" in the book) nothing surprises me about these movies. I'm immune to their miscasts.

Hunk?? I thought the Peeta in the book sounded much better looking than the chap they cast, he certainly wasn't a hunk.

Can someone help me, I don't remember Peeta being described as chubby, did I miss it somewhere? I honestly thought Peeta was supposed to be more conventionally attractive than Josh Hutcherson. However I will say I find him adorable as hell, even though I'm not sure if he was the best choice for Peeta. He was awesome in interviews, and I love his personality, and even is Lego like head.

Peeta was supposed to be average height, stocky, and quite strong. Blonde, blue eyed. He wasn't bad looking, but nothing remarkable.

Nothing about chubby, I think the above poster is confusing things.
