There's a difference between something being written by someone with a conservative mindset and outright propaganda.

God yes, this. People's worldview is going to get in their work, that's just sort of how it is. If we started saying that every time a movie supported some sort of particular viewpoint it was propaganda then EVERY SINGLE MOVIE would be propaganda on some level.
