"What does Clouds In My Coffee mean?
Carly Simon was traveling with a friend on an airplane, when he pointed to her cup and said "Look, there are clouds in your coffee" (a reflection of the sky outside her window). She liked the phrase and wrote in her notebook. Later, when she was writing the song You're So Vain, she used that reference to an "illusion" to describe her dreams of having a relationship with the subject of the song.
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee and...."
I dunno what the dick any of that has to do with Martin Freeman, though.

I always assumed it was creamer and it was a reference to reading some kind of fortune from it, sort of like how you read tea leaves.
