derek and stiles have almost no chemistry or anything that makes me want to ship them.. i started this show thinking I'd end it shipping them like a mofo and was so disappointed. seriously this ship makes no sense to me.

LOL. My Dad has weird taste--on one hand he likes really mainstream stuff (The Avengers, for example), and on the other hand he'll stumble upon things that are geeky and less well-known and get really into them (he likes Felica Day's The Guild more than I do, and avidly follows her new YouTube channel now). He also loves corny teen comedies (Teen Wolf--the movie, not the show--Clueless, etc) but can't stand most anime (but he loves Cromartie High School, Death Note, and Hetalia). I can't figure him out.

I think I must get my geeky side from him though...

It's been a long time since I've read the Sprawl trilogy, but I don't remember a huevos rancheros recipe at all. Now I should re-read it!

I remember the sky above the port was the color of a television tuned to a dead channel. I remember that Molly had her tear ducts re-routed when they installed her mirror shades so she spits instead of cries. I remember at the end of Neuromancer Case hooks up with a girl named Michael. And I remember the voodoo gods in Count Zero.

It might be a decade since I last read these books...

I started playing Mass Effect for the Garrus romance too, (also, seconding that desire for an alien dating sim. Fucking aliens are hot as hell, man) but I started at 1 because I wanted the whole context and found that the series as a whole is really great. I got so attached to all the characters and improved my skills on the actual gameplay part quite a bit (went from dying constantly in 1 to being a fucking boss in the middle of 3 right now)

I'd encourage you to try the other games if you have a chance, maybe do a "proper" playthrough one day. Stuff you could have done in 1 can have a big impact in both of the sequels. (like I'm pretty sure starting at 2 means Wrex isn't around, which makes me sad forever because he's fucking awesome)

The romance with Garrus has more punch that way too, imo. In 2 it's pretty eh beyond his cute awkwardness but in 3 it's really fucking good and really well-written.

Me too, anon. It was really unsettling to watch, like "Was that what I was like from an outside perspective?" Plus, I'm quite happy denying that that particular chapter of my life even exists.

I will say I am loving that Adam finally has a love interest. Who is probably going to have a breakdown at some point or another for crushing on Adam, but whatevs.

You know what, there are more liberal congregations that *do* consider you a jaw even if it's on the father's side.
Regardless, you could convert.Jewish culture and ritual could have been part of your everyday environment at home - so you might well consider yourself culturally Jewish.

I know it's not tradition, but not everyone sticks to it as closely.

(Also - a relative of mine was "only" Jewish on his dad's side, but that didn't stop the Nazi's from putting him in a concentration camp - so there's that).

Seriously though, this is really eerie. Sometimes I joke that I'm making secrets in my sleep, but it's not often that someone makes/writes a secret exactly the way I would have.

Let's be confused together, OP. I ship them so hard it hurts. Maybe it's okay? The Wilfred we see is just a construct of Ryan's mind, so it's kind of like shipping a person and their imaginary friend.
