OP, you've just reminded me that I need to re-watch those movies. I remember liking them, but I can't remember what happens no matter how hard I try to. (To be fair, I was just a child when I first saw them...) Tim Burton is freaking brilliant, though.

That said, I do enjoy Nolan's films, too. I don't think they're flawless and perfect, but I do enjoy them very much. (My favourite will probably always be Batman Begins... although I haven't seen TDKR yet, so I can't say for sure.)
