I haven't seen this movie since I was 4, but this pic makes me remember that I used to ship those two.

Agreed so much. I prefer my superhero movies bizarre and funny.

Also I hate all the rabid fanboys who take Nolan's Batman trilogy way way WAY too seriously. I guess they're kind of cool action movies but goddammit. It's still a guy with pointy bat ears on top of his fucking head.

And now I remember I had to stop reading a comics website because they insisted on overanalyzing every fucking second of the Burton films to explain why they "objectively sucked" but gave Nolan a goddamn free pass.

I'm honestly surprised Nolan's movies get a pass as "OMG the best ever!" by so many fanboys because before now, comic book movies were often heavily criticized if they didn't retain the spirit of the comics... And Nolan's Batman isn't even close to Batman.

I prefer Burton's myself, it comes down to taste I guess but I am not into Nolan's gritty crime drama.

The only Batman movies that matter to me at all. Well, along with Mask of the Phantasm.

They were lots of fun and I grew up loving them, but I'm one of the few who enjoy watching the Nolanverse ones more. If I have bad taste, so be it.
