Noooo, this is a new character, from the hockey team.

You know, I could swear Degrassi is part TARDIS or something. They have more sports teams and more gyms every time we look at the joint. We started off with the one multi-purpose gym, but now there's a weight room, a place with a bunch of other exercise equipment, a climbing gym, an indoor soccer field, a football field, an enormous Olympic-sized pool, and now, apparently a place to play fucking hockey...

Maybe it's just the fact that I went to a little podunk country school out in the middle of Bumblefuck, and we were limited to a football field (with a track around it) and a gymnasium. Is this a normal thing in Canada?

(...I ponder a lot of really stupid things about Degrassi, and that's one of them.)

(but more on-topic, OMG, I hope Adam gets a happy ending. He's one of the few characters on that show that I genuinely love and think is amazingly-written. The other two are Fiona and Holly J. I want them to have their own spinoff where they just run around having funny adventures around Toronto.)

Well, they're apparently a team that was in need of a school to be based at. They're Ice Hounds, not Wildcats. They're like, a real team, for junior players.

I guess because it's shot at a real school, the "set" is bound to change as the school adds on rooms and remodels, etc. They kind of have to just go with it.

A thousand times yes on the Adam thing, and the Holly J and Fiona Show. I would watch that. As long as Adam could with them.

Is it shot at a real school? I thought it was shot at the studios. (I'm pretty sure I passed the building once and was like "OMG DEGRASSI". XD)

Yes, they shoot at a real school, while the classes are on break, or at least they used to. (Which means they have an extremely tight schedule, and are very quick to fire actors who don't show up on time) (This is why the boy from Sean's gang that liked Liberty when she was trying to be a Bad Girl mysteriously disappeared)

The outside is definitely a real school. They might be using sets now that they have a Real Budget. Not sure.
