Thanks for that. You know the really annoying thing about the attitude as well is that it didn't even use to be the case, people were Jewish if their father was, then it was changed due to women being raped in war etc, it was easier to work out if it went down the mother's side.

I would be Jewish on my father's side and yeah, a friend did mention to me once that I would have been in the camps, it was enough to be considered Jewish by the Nazis, but not enough for the faith, meh.

1. Check out the link below about who is a Jew. It makes a case for the matrilineal line way before from way before it was supposedly changed.

2. I refuse to use Hitler's standards as to who is or is not a Jew.
