Oh, man. This. THIS. The fandom in general gives me second-hand embarrassment, but now that the Sterek fans (particularly, the more rabid ones) are talking about the ship as if it is progressive and empowering for queer rights just makes me want to gag. They've taken the "snub" by EW and are taking it to a crazy level.
And then ignoring characters like Danny that are publicly out and proud (and accepted publicly too) and basically acting like Sterek is the only way Teen Wolf can *be* progressive.

The Sterek fandom is *insane*.

yeah, the characters like danny... and how many minutes has he had screen time in two seasons, again? gay characters in the background are hardly progressive, accepted or not.
