But this smacks of the BBC!Sherlock fandom, shortly before things went south. Passive-aggressive to the hilt, linking slash fics for gen requests, that type of thing.....

Oh granted, we can all make pretty likely guess... but that's not as fun as having OP admit it and add in "AND X forum/tumblr group/whatever SUCKED"

I didn't know the Sherlock fandom was like that... granted I've only read a few fics, go on Tumblr once in a while and I mostly just watch wonderful fan-made videos on youtube (also, the people on my flist who watch Sherlock are pretty awesome and open-minded).

I'm not really active in the fandom (haven't really been for a year or so, since I started university) and I still have to watch season 2... but is it really that bad now? :(
