Yes, seriously, I find the show amusing, but I never want to write for it because of those jerks, and I bet that's why the fandom's so tiny. They cow anyone who would bother writing for it away by saying everyone's terrible. :/

You're definitely not the only one. My friends and I have discussed how we dislike them doing that.

I wrote fic in the beginning but yeah, it seemed like these jerks just ran off anybody who might be interested. Every now and then I cruise by to see if it's gotten any better... it hasn't.

Before it was just a swarm of anons complaining about the writing, now it seems to be going on non-anon which just feels like so much worse. Like that's how toxic the fandom is, where people feel like they can freely insult other fans for not daring to write to their exacting standards.

This is actually what happened to me. I started several fics and then pretty much abandoned them because of their passive aggressive bullshit. Which actually makes me incredibly sad because, even though I don't post them, I have quite a few stories I'd love to share and get feedback on.
