Oh, I have to see where they say that STEREK is a Queer Rights Issue. OP, do you have any links?

Start there. There is more, but I can't find it at the moment. Some of it was hilarious rants about something called queer-baiting. I wish I could find it 'cause the term is awful and I had to read the posts about it to remove my mental image of the non-heteronormative surrounded by dogs from my brain.

(It's a reference to bear-baiting. BTW. I'm not a horrible person.)

found on tumblr:

You want to call Derek/Stiles getting snubbed on a website poll “a Chick-fil-A moment”? Really? It’s just like the owner of a corporation donating millions of dollars to deny civil and human rights to queer people, including to organizations in other countries that want to kill them?

the vocal bulk of teen wolf's fandom is concentrated on tumblr, i believe, and the person who wrote the Chick-fil-A post probably counts as a BNF of sorts, since she also wrote the very popular essay Fanon To Canon: A Journey

God, that BNF(if we can call it that??) person annoys the fuck out of me now that I'm actually in the fandom.

It's like, you have an audience now, stop stating absolute fantasy as total fact. It's just way way too easy for that to get confused on tumblr where nobody knows what the source is in the first place. I know it's my problem that inaccuracy and twisting of facts makes my skin crawl so much, but uuuugh. PLZ STOP.

I came from Curseangel's tumblr because she was whining about this thread... I hoped to read some nice wank :(((((

Hahaha, I was just wondering where curseangel was. I was hoping for more on how Kirk/Spock is a step forward for gay representation but Kirk/McCoy doesn't count.
