How come in zombie flicks you never see any zombie horses? There's zombie dogs, zombie crows, zombie rats sometimes, but never horses. I want to see a zombie mounted police officer on his zombie horse. That'll liven up the genre.

I would go see a zombie flick with a reanimated RCMP officer on a reanimated horse in a heartbeat. Especially if they were recurring characters or even main characters.

Maybe because their herbivores? Zombies do seem to stick to carnivore/omnivore types. Herbivore zombies would be really interesting though. It would be really interesting to see a zombie virus automatically makes everything flesh hungry, or if animals that aren't naturally made for meat eating would react differently. Of course this will most likely lead to Monty python rabbit jokes.

Horses are made out of meat. They could still get bitten and turned. Will they become carnivores as a result, IDK. Maybe that's where the Mares of Diomedes came from. Hercules and the Zombie Horse Herd, only on SyFy!
