Notes:

Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally clicked the wrong thing and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (a bit over 100) are gone.

If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here and it will still go up this week.

The submissions post for next week is linked below as usual.

The troll secrets are just getting stupider. At least try to be clever.

...I would watch the hell out of a zombie sports movie. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY CARROTS.

I think this needs to exist right this minute.

It's okay. It will always exist in our hearts. As magic. Evil zombie magic, but magic nonetheless.

I've had this sort of reaction to a few animated-movie promos. Despicable Me had some like this, I think, and I gotta say, it would've also been pretty funny if Tintin and Snowy found a giant can of Purina dog chow in the desert, like that commercial way back then. Also, if Tony Stark had spent Iron Man 2 trying to make everyone drink Dr. Pepper.

So make that movie! Make it, start a Kickstarter, I'll donate to it and tell all my friends!

Hell, if you don't make it, I will ...

I'd watch the hell out of that. Imagine it! Using their own arms as javelins! Heads for shotputs! Keeping one not-zombied human for races to act like the bunny in dograces! If these are the shambling zombie types, it would be worth it for the hurdle events alone.

I'd prefer to watch that than the actual bullshit movie

(Anonymous) 2012-09-02 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
I just watched the movie today. It was good (especially the animation), but the story was a bit weak, especially when comparing it to Laika's other film, "Coraline" (but then again, this film didn't have, the perfect being that he is, Henry Selick directing and writing the script). But there was a lot that I loved about it. And putting a White Stripes song in the movie didn't hurt it.

The story didn't kick in for me until the 3rd act. Beautiful animation throughout, tho. And I loved the synthy bass that played whenever the zombies appeared.

If it's by that company is probably not animation. It's stop motion.

(Anonymous) 2012-09-02 04:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Many people refer stop motion as a form of animation. "Stop motion animation".
