Notes:
Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally clicked the wrong thing and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (a bit over 100) are gone.
If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here and it will still go up this week.
The submissions post for next week is linked below as usual.

Re: Doctor Who 7x01 Discussion! SPOILERS AHOY
But telling folk who are infertile to essentially just deal with or get over it is pretty callous. It's still an option that's cut out, not by choice, and it does suck. About the only thing about Amy's reaction that bugged me was the childishness of not talking with Rory about it and the whole, "I LOVE YOU SO I LET YA GO," shtick. That was ridiculous. Otherwise, that sense of failure, misplaced personal responsibility, inadequacy, and resenting what had happened to her? Perfect.

But. Yeah. It was just a time filler and contrived "problem" for the Doctor to "solve" imo. Writerrssssssss :(
Re: Doctor Who 7x01 Discussion! SPOILERS AHOY
Also: yeah. I kind of want to give Moffat a 'you tried!' star. xD I'm hoping there'll be a few months between this episode and the next for the Ponds so we can assume they had some time to work out their relationship stuff offscreen, since the chances of it being dealt with onscreen are... low.

But I'm not sure how a rushed scene of Amy's exposition stress vomit counts as dismissal, if that's what you're getting at. I guess Rory could have mentioned adoption to comfort her, but somehow I don't think discussing options was the point of that scene so much as her self-worth being tied down to what she probably considers her duty as a wife or whatever. Considering how short it was, I'd be surprised if Moffat put any thought into it beyond forcing drama or "twists."
Re: Doctor Who 7x01 Discussion! SPOILERS AHOY
I think I'd have to watch the scene again to figure out exactly what about it felt dismissive to me, because it was something very specific about the phrasing used, looking at it from a Doylist perspective.
