AYRT - I really don't care about other anime shows, because I've seen some that don't do this. The fact is that anime-style in the Harry Potter fandom (and others) makes everyone look the same. I have yet to find some fanart that doesn't do this.

Just... look at Snape. He's got the same nose as everyone else, but his nose is supposed to be large and hooked. The only things altered in all the characters is their eye colour, and their hair colour/style/length, glasses and accessories. There are a few that are immediately obvious because of said accessories or colours stand out (like Lily, red hair green eyes), but other characters are only identifiable by who they're standing next to.

Snape's definitely WAY too pretty, but I don't know if that's limited to just anime fanart. Fangirls in general like to make him too pretty. Although I'm actually seeing different noses in that fanart. Dumbledore's nose is bigger than a lot of the other male characters, as is Hagrid's, Hermione's nose is obviously smaller than Ron or Harry's, Luna's nose has more of an upward slope to it than Lilly's...

I honestly don't think this is that bad. This person's style is a little generic but I'm still seeing little differences in the faces. Not as much as I'd prefer, but I wouldn't say everyone in that fanart has the same face.
