Everything the others said is a great idea, but also don't beat yourself up for being sad. That's a really easy way to get into a cycle of I am sad/I shouldn't be sad/there's something wrong with me for being sad/I'm sad that there's something wrong with me on top of being sad about the breakup stuff. And that will make everything seem worse. You have a right to grieve.

Also, set clear boundaries for yourself about the kind of contact you're going to have with your ex for the next little while. It almost doesn't matter what those boundaries are, but if you need to not see him, not talk to him, not have any physical contact with him when you do see him, that's all totally reasonable. You deserve to be comfortable, and you have a right to define how that's going to happen.
